Connaissez-vous CAMEO pour Power Point ?

Cela fait longtemps que je n'ai plus publié sur ce blog mais je reviens avec vous afin de vous mettre la puce à l'oreille au sujet de CAMEO.

Ce nouvel outil, permet d'insérer votre flux en direct d’appareil photo directement dans une diapositive PowerPoint. Puis vous pouvez appliquer les mêmes effets à votre flux d’appareil photo que vous le feriez pour une image ou un autre objet notamment la mise en forme, les transitions et les styles.

Actuellement, Cameo n'est disponible que pour Power Point 365 dans le cadre du programme Insider.

Programme MCT, un mois d'avril très animé

Bonjour chers amis et collègues MCT

Vous l’avez probablement noté, ce début de mois d’avril 2022 et fort et riche en annonces et rebondissements par rapport au programme MCT.

L’info la plus contraignante, c’est la suspension du renouvellement des MCT depuis le mois de mars et qui le restera jusqu’en juillet 2022.
Heureusement pour moi, qui ai une date anniversaire début avril, j’avais pris les devants et renouvelé mon MCT en février 2022.

Mais l’actualité qui a fait le buzz sur les réseaux sociaux, c’est le retrait des certifications Office de la liste des certifications éligibles pour l’obtention et le renouvellement de la certification MCT. Cette annonce est tombée le 1^er avril 2022 et le message était :

Après une grosse agitation sur la toile, et l’intervention de certains MCT RL, Microsoft a partiellement révisé son annonce pour indiquer que les certifications MOS sont éligibles pour le renouvellement mais pas pour l’entrer dans le programme.  Cette annonce est tombée une semaine plus tard soit le 07 avril 2022.

I just received an email from Stephanie Jasmin the new MCT Program Manager about the next MCT Townhall.

It is scheduled for September 10th, 2021 at 11:00 AM EST.

However, for the first time you will have to register in order to attend and the link to the registration form is on MCT Central.

Windows 11, Did you hear about it?

 

I just got the notification, Microsoft is preparing a new version of windows (Windows 11). This version should be available later this year. Windows 11 will have all the power and security of Windows 10 with a redesigned and refreshed look. It will also comes with new tools, sounds, and apps. Every detail has been considered. All of it will comes together to bring you a refreshing experience on your PC.

A new version of the Download Manager Tool has been released

Hi fellow MCT

Like many of us, I received a notification last Friday, from the MCT Program Team indicating that a new version of the “Download Manager” tool for the MCT Learning Download Center has been released.

If you wonder where to go to download it, here is a screen shot to help you.

1. Go to : https://learningdownloadcenter.microsoft.com/
2. Go to “FAQ”
3. Select the “LDM” section
4. Expend the “How to set up LDM tool?” node
5. Click on the “here” link to start the download
   
   
   
   
   

During the download I received a security alert indicating that the app is not trusted. I bypassed id but normally we did not have to get it.

Remember, before installing the new version, you have to remove the previous one.

Visual Studio 2022 is comming !

The announcement was made on April 19th, 2021, the first public preview of Visual Studio 2022 will be released this summer and this is what the Dev team is saying about this new release.

The next major release of Visual Studio will be faster, more approachable, and more lightweight, designed for both learners and those building industrial scale solutions.

For the first time ever, Visual Studio will be 64-bit. The user experience will feel cleaner, intelligent, and action oriented.

Micrsofot just announced that they have released a new exam MB-910: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals Customer Engagement Apps (CRM).

MCT Town Hall pour le mois de Novembre 2020

L’équipe « Microsoft Learn » vient d’annoncer la date du prochain MCT Town Hall, une rencontre en ligne dans laquelle les mises à jour du programme MCT sont présentées.

Le MCT pour ce mois de novembre 2020 est prévu pour le 12 du mois à 08:00 heure de Redmond (17h00 heure d'Alger).

Durant cette réunion le successeur de Allison Kraker l’ancienne « Program Manager » sera annoncé

Du nouveau côté certifications Microsoft

La lettre d’information « Microsoft Learn » pour ce mois de novembre est riche en annonces mais je retiens les nouvelles en rapport avec le mode de renouvellement des certifications et la durée de validité.

• Possibilité pour les aux individus de renouveler les certifications basées sur les rôles et les spécialités en passant une évaluation en ligne gratuitement.
  
  
• De plus, les nouvelles certifications obtenues en réussissant les examens surveillés requis passeront d'une validité de deux ans à une validité d'un an et le renouvellement des certifications peut être effectué chaque année dans les six mois suivant l'expiration.

Les questions suivantes me viennent à l’esprit

• Combien de tentative aura chaque individu pour passer l’évaluation en ligne ?
  
  
• En cas d’échec, que devra faire l’individu pour retrouver sa certification ?
  
  
• Si l’individu ne renouvelle pas sa certification dans les délais qu’adviendra-t-il de cette certification. Est-ce qu’elle sera retirée du transcript, marquée comme inactive ?
  
  

J’espère avoir des réponses lors du prochain MCT Town Hall qui aura lieu ce 12 novembre 2020 et si vous avez d’autres préoccupations n’hésitez pas à laisser un commentaire.

Vous avez dit Snagit 2021 ?

C’est officiel, la dernière mouture du célèbre outil de capture d’écran édité par TechSmith, j’ai nommé « Snagit » est maintenant disponible au grand public.

Voici en quelques lignes les principales nouveautés et améliorations

Des modèles de conceptions améliorés

• Les modèles, qui ont fait leur apparition dans la précédente version de Snagit, permettent aux utilisateurs de combiner facilement leurs captures d’écran pour créer des guides et des instructions étape par étape. Dans Snagit 2021, cet outil a été repensé pour offrir une plus grande personnalisation. Il est par exemple possible de réorganiser sans difficulté les différentes étapes.
  
• C’est « la » fonctionnalité à ne pas manquer et que j’ai eu le plaisir de tester pour créer deux guides Power BI, le premier « Télécharger Power BI Desktop » et le second « Installer Power BI Desktop »

Des jeux de couleurs revisités

• Les jeux de couleurs font également peau neuve dans Snagit 2021 : en plus des palettes, il est maintenant possible d’enregistrer des polices et des styles. Une fois créés, les jeux de couleurs peuvent être employés à l'infini et partagés au sein de l'équipe. Ainsi, les documents produits sont tous clairs, uniformes et conformes à la charte graphique de l’entreprise.

Des captures d’écran en version simplifiée

• Voici une autre fonctionnalité qui a été améliorée. Dans la version 2021, l’algorithme de cette fonction a été amélioré : les éléments d’interface sont mieux reconnus et simplifiés de façon uniforme
  
• Grâce au nouveau mode Déplacement, les utilisateurs qui préfèrent simplifier eux-mêmes leurs captures d’écran peuvent facilement épurer leurs images et utiliser leurs propres palettes de couleurs. Snagit 2021 permet de simplifier les illustrations d’interface de façon rapide, efficace et intuitive.

De nouvelles langues d’interface

• Déjà proposé en anglais, en français et en allemand, le logiciel Snagit est désormais disponible en japonais, en portugais et en espagnol

New MCT 100% Beta Exam Vouchers for New Exam (MB-800)

I just received the notification, MCTs can get 100% discount to take the new MB-800 exam Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant.

Extending waiver of MCT Program fee

Good news, Microsoft decided to extend the waiver of MCT Program fee.

As a response to the pandemic, the MCT Program fee has been waived until September 30, 2020. After further assessment of the worldwide situation, Microsoft is extending the fee waiver until December 31, 2020. MCTs will still need to renew through the MCT Enrollment tool, but once he gets to the payment process, the amount due will be zero.

Après avoir décidé d’annuler les frais de renouvellement au programme MCT jusqu’au 30 Septembre 2020, Microsoft vient d’annoncer le prolongement de cette mesure de soutien jusqu’au 31 Décembre 2020. Les MCT devront toujours passer par le processus de renouvellement mais au moment du payement les frais seront de zéro.

MCT Satisfaction Survey 2020

Hi Fellow MCTs,

Normally you received a notification about the MCT Satisfaction Survey but if this is not the case I encourage you to fill it and to give your point of vue about the program.

In the last MCT Town Hall (June 30th, 2020) I heard that less then 700 MCTs had took the survey and this amount of responses cannot be uset to have an objective idea about the program so if you are concerned by the future of the program and you did not yet took the survey please visit the MCT Central page and follow the link to the MCT Satisfaction Survey 2020.
