Camtasia 2020, is here


Hello everyone,

Today, April 28th, 2020, TechSmith released the latest version of Camtasia 2020, their screen recording and video editing software.
This new version includes features to make it easier for first time creators to easily produce better training, tutorials, lessons, and knowledge sharing videos.

New features included are:
  • New from templates (and the Templates tab). Templates automatically add some Media like "Intro", "Outro" and a placeholder to insert your content.
  • Track magnetization
  • Create your own templates and inserting placeholders
  • Convert a piece of video into a placeholder to make it a Template
  • The Favorites menu
  • Add a custom behavior as a new preset
  • Export your work as a package to share it with your team. Package can contain templates, custom preset, themes and many other contents.
  • When a package is important every piece of it go in its right place.
  • Add track matte
  • Detach or attach the track line
  • Revers transition
  • See and select any media that have not been used in a project

MCT program fees waived until September 30th, 2020


This was the most asked question by MCTs during the last weeks and Microsoft just responded to us, the program fees are waived until September 30th, 2020 and MCT that have renewed on or after February 1, 2020 can request a program fee refund.

75% Discount MCT Benefit extended to January 31th, 2021


Hi fellow MCT and MCT Alumni,

Good news! The 75% discount offer on role-based certifications exams (a MCT and MCT alumni offer) have been extended to January 31th, 2021.

The next MCT Town Hall session have been scheduled for the 8th April 2020 at 08:00 AM PST (15:00 UTC) and for this month there is only one option to attend.

MCSA, MCSE, MCSD Retirement date postponed to January 31, 2020


Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Microsoft is making an important update to its Certifications program.
  • Online proctoring capacity is increased.
  • Reschedule and cancellation fees is waived. No charge if you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Retirement of MCSA, MCSD, MCSE certifications and related exams is extended to January 31th, 2021.
  • Expiring role-based certifications is extended to six months if it expireS before January 1rst, 2020.
  • Exam voucher and discount offer expiration dates is extended to January 31th, 2021 if it expireS before September 1rst, 2020.

Virtual MCT Weekly Series starting on April 3, 2020


Starting on April 3, 2020, Microsoft Learning Team is launching a virtual weekly deep dive live event series, called the Virtual MCT Weekly Series.

Each Week, this series will feature Microsoft FTE speakers who will share different aspects of Microsoft’s technical training and MCT programs. They will also be available to answer questions on the topic of the day.

Five (05) episodes are in preparation and planned for the following dates
  • Overall Learning Strategy on 04/03/2020 from 08:00am to 09:00am (PST)
  • MCT Program Support on 04/30/2020 from 08:00am to 09:00am (PST)
  • MCT Program Next Steps on 06/04/2020 from 08:00am to 09:00am (PST)
  • GTM strategy on 06/11/2020 from 08:00am to 09:00am (PST)
  • Learning Partner Program on 06/18/2020 from 08:00am to 09:00am (PST)
